Hi,

We are the Winn family and adopted Hope right before Christmas.  We have changed her name to Abby.  She is a loving and gentle spirit and we love her with all our hearts.  She was shy and quite timid at first, but now loves playing in the yard, chasing her sister cats, and going for car rides.  We cannot imagine our life without her.

  

Now for a little bit about our experience.  We had heard on WHAS11 news about the raid on the puppy mill and the dogs confiscated.  I cried at the thought of the dogs and what they had been through.  We had talked about getting a dog before and my one ironclad rule was that had to be a rescue.  We decided this was a perfect fit for us.  We followed the dogs’ progress on FB and your web site, and we were very impressed with the care and medical treatment all were receiving at your facility.  The day we brought her home was wonderful.  you would never have known where  she had been.  We were told that no one involved with Hope had ever heard her bark.  After a few days, a neighbor knocked on the door, and surprise!!!!  she had a voice!!!
