Owner of lost dog found

We had a small senior chihuahua turned into the animal shelter by someone that found the dog running loose. The dog was named Baby Ruth by the shelter and was posted on our website under the Lost & Found/Current Pets in Custody page. The owner of this dog reclaimed the dog by providing photos and current and past vet records matching this dog.

New Albany Dog Park

Did you know New Albany has a premiere dog park? Located along Highway 111 and Budd Rd, the New Albany Dog Park is the place for you and your dog to enjoy the outdoors! This multi-acre, members only, off-leash dog park has plenty of open space for your pooch to run and play. The park features swings, gazebos, benches, water spigots, wooded areas, a separate agility course, and much more. There are also two large play areas where the dogs are separated by weight, so that the smaller dogs will have a less intimidating environment to run and play with their friends.

Learn more about the New Albany Dog Park and where to apply for membership by visiting their website, https://newalbanydogpark.com/

March 23 is National Puppy and Cuddly Kitten Day!

You are looking for a new furry friend and companion? This coming Saturday, March 23rd, is National Puppy and Cuddly Kitten Day! Visit our Adoptable Animal pages to see if we have a playful puppy or cuddly kitten that might be the perfect match for your home and family! Also consider adopting an adult or older pet instead of a young one. Many adult animals still have lots of puppy/kitten energy and playfulness and have already outgrown the “growing pains” behaviors of a young puppy or kitten!
