PAWS Rock the Riverfront

The Floyd County Animal Rescue League (FCARL) is very excited to be holding a benefit concert with the Louisville Philanthropic group Cabo Wabo on Saturday, September 7th, at the New Albany Amphitheater.  The New Albany Animal Shelter is acting as a support organization for FCARL, just as they so often support us!

This  event is being called P.A.W.S. (Pets Are Worth Saving) Rock the Riverfront and it will feature delicious food from JR’s Pub, plenty of beer, and live entertainment by The Rumors and 100% Poly! The Riverfront will be rockin’ from 6PM until Midnight!

 Who Knew? Strange Animal Facts

The blue whale is the loudest animal on earth.

Cats do not have collarbones, allowing them to fit in any opening that their head can fit.

Dalmatians are the only breed of dog that suffers from gout.

Most full grown elephants weigh less than a blue whales tongue.
