Lucci has been waiting for his happy ending for almost three months and he’s starting to get a little sad that no one wants him. He’s about a year old and loves his people fiercely! Lucci came from a home with kids who didn’t always respect his boundaries which resulted in a lot of frustration in the house. For this reason, he would need go to a home with older children who understand that not all dogs like to be touched while they sleep or bothered while they are eating. Lucci has done okay with other dogs but loves to play rough! He’s been working on his manners while he waits for his family and he’d sure love to show off his new skills. You can often find this handsome boy frolicking in the play yard or hanging out with his favorite staff members.
Lucci’s adoption fee has been sponsored thanks to Terry Middleton! Included in his adoption is a crate, a front clip harness, and a bag of toys to help our guy get started in his new life. He’s already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Schedule a time to meet him by filling out an adoption application linked below!
Go Chief Go!

Chief is a 5-year-old Beagle/Australian Cattle Dog mix who has been at the shelter for over 40 days! He was an owner surrender when his family decided they didn’t have time for him anymore and he was left to bark all day alone in their home. He’s super smart and sweet but has a few quirks. His previous owner said that he would resource guard high value edible items but was fine when fed alone.
He’s never lived with dogs but he does seem to do okay existing with them here, although he is a wee bit reactive on leash. He’s incredibly affectionate to people who listen to him when he gets uncomfortable. Chief must go to a home without small children.
