Puppies up for adoption visit local firefighter hereos

UPDATE — ALL THE SHEPHERD PUPPIES HAVE BEEN ADOPTED!!!
January 31st, 2020, 8 tiny puppies on the brink of death entered the New Albany Floyd County Animal Shelter. Emaciated, scared, and not even sure how to eat on their own, we were unsure if they would even survive. This group of shepherd mixed puppies were found at the edge of some woods in the middle of nowhere. There was no telling how they managed to get out there or how long they had been on their own. The only thing we knew for certain; they needed us to save them. Through weeks and weeks of tedious watching, evaluating, worrying, and hard work; we can finally say that this beautiful bunch is finally in the clear and ready to spread their wings into a new home! We knew these small pups needed strong names to go with their strong will to live. So we chose to name them after the courageous firefighters from the hit show, “Station 19â€. So what’s more fitting then letting them visit some of New Albany’s courageous firefighters for a little extra TLC before sending them on their way to new homes!
Adoptions will begin at noon on Thursday, March 12th on a first come first served basis. These pups are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations based on age – but will need all boosters in the near future. These puppies are normal puppies and will need all the basic puppy training for manners, potty training and puppy skills. Thanks New Albany Fire Department for giving them some love!
