May is full of National Pet Holidays! Just a few of them are mentioned in our May Newsletter!

As the summer heats up so do ticks! Ticks can do much more damage than just drinking a little blood – read the “Timely Tips about Ticks” article to find out more on how and why to protect your pet. Summer also tends to lead to more dog bites as well because dogs are allowed out more. May is Nation Dog Bite Prevention Month. Stevenson is finally ready to find his forever home! Stevenson is estimated to be a gentle 9 year old Maltese. He came to the shelter as a matted stray. He does need to be on a special diet for the remainder of his life. He doesn’t mind other animals. His adoption fee is $80.
