March Newsletter now available!
March Newsletter is now available! There are a lot of events coming up, including our Spay Now or Stay Stupid Program, The Kentuckiana Cluster Dog Show (which we will have a booth at!).
Do you know what to do if you find or loose a dog? There are many sources available for the public that can help reunite owners and pets. An article is also available about traveling with your pet so everyone has an enjoyable and safe trip.  More details can be read in the Newsletter listed above, under the “About our Shelter” tab above!
Also, make sure you tune in to 102.3 the MAX on Friday between 6AM and 2PM to hear about some adoptable puppies and happening at the Shelter!

Project description: Dog Park- Wooded Area Preparation
Brief paragraph description of this mission: We are very excited to break ground this year on New Albany’s first dog park. Take part in the overall project by assisting with removing loose debris (sticks, leaves, etc) and brush from the wooded portion of the park.
Max # of volunteers needed: 6
Address & city of project: 1933 Budd Road, New Albany, IN 47150 (Parking Lot)
Start and (approx) end time of project: April 16- 9am-12pm
Minimum age to volunteer: 8 years old
What to bring: Wear old clothes, old sneakers, bring gloves, hedge trimmers and tree clippers
What happens if it rains: Will work J
