2016 Pet Lovers Gala
Howdy everyone! The Floyd County Animal Rescue League is having their 10th Annual Pet Lovers Gala! Proceeds from this event will help the animals in our community and our shelter get the help they need and deserve. Please lend a helping hand. If you cannot attend, they will also be looking for items to be used as silent auction items if you or your company have anything to offer. Pet of the Week: Leo
Leo is very relaxed older guy that is looking for a new family for Valentines’ Day. He is roughly 9 years old. He is already neutered, microchipped, Felv/FIV tested negative, current on vaccines, and all 4 paw declawed. His adoption fee is only $20. Please visit this handsome fellow at the State Street Feeders Supply if you are interested in giving him a furever home.

Pet of the Week: Barney
 
Barney is a really good, but large boy. He is about 2 years old and has already been tossed around from home to home several times. He is believed to be a hound/mastiff mix. He does need some basic training. He would do best in a home without smaller animals because he likes to chase them. He is also a dog that really wants to be around people. He is already neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and current on vaccinations. Please visit him at the New Albany Animal Shelter to meet this friendly giant.

Shelter Staff and volunteers will be reporting to work at 11am on Saturday, Jan.23rd. The shelter will be open to the public from 12-3pm. Enjoy the snow!
