As many of your have probably seen on the news, the Shelter has aided in the rescue of 68 Chihuahuas and Chinese Crested from a bad situation in Western Ky.

At this point, the dogs are all going through their initial vet screenings. Hopefully, early to mid next week, we will be starting to transport dogs to other area shelters and rescues. Some will be available for adoption here as well after they are spayed/neutered and accessed fully.  We will post on the website and Facebook as more information becomes available.

Rescues – If you are part of a rescue and are interested in taking/transporting some of these dogs, please send all of your contact info and whether or not you can transport yourselves. It can be emailed to nafcpetpointers@yahoo.com. We will be in touch with what we need, as we need it!

Public – We are looking for volunteers to help with the influx of animals. We need a few people to come and help keep up clean laundry mainly!   We are also in need of donations! Towels, Blankets, Laundry Detergent, Hand Soap, & Dish Soap mainly!
