Certified Pre-Owned Cats Come with Gas for Safe Ride Home

 Every year, shelters nationwide are filled with cats! In honor of Adopt-A-Shelter Cat month, The NAFC Animal Shelter is holding a Certified Pre-Owned cat sale in the month of June. Besides your certified pre-owned cat, qualifying adopters will receive a $5 gas card and an opportunity to win a special gift basket for your newly adopted cat.

 Our adoptions for cats over 4lbs. will have a one time fee of $20, and will include a Catfax Cat History Report, FeLV/FIV testing, vaccinations, spaying or neutering, a microchip, 4lb bag of Science Diet Food, Feeders Supply coupon book, a Cardboard Pet Carrier for traveling, and a $5 gas card to ensure safe delivery home! Special thanks to The Floyd County Animal Rescue League for providing gas cards for this promotion.

  “Not only are people giving a deserving cat a home”, says Theresa Stilger, Animal Care Coordinator at the shelter, “at that price it’s a steal!” Cat adopters will also be eligible for a special drawing each week for gift baskets given in honor of Adopt- A-Shelter Cat month.

Over two thousand animals a year come through the doors of  the New Albany Floyd County Animal Shelter seeking homes. Hundreds of pet owners are assisted annually in the spaying or  neutering of their pets by the shelter, the Floyd County Humane Society and the Floyd County Animal Rescue League.  Together, we can make a difference!
