Preparing for the New Baby
Your four-legged sidekick has probably figured out that something’s up. Follow our countdown to D-day and the transition will come with fewer barks (oops, we mean bumps) in the road. For many couples, a dog is their first “baby.” And chances are, your hound knows he is! Your canine will still be a cherished part of the clan when your son or daughter arrives on the scene, but your routines will shift, and that can befuddle your furry friend.
We need your HELP!
We have a strange request…. WE NEED YOUR HELP! We use the cardboard boxes that beer cases are moved in for litter boxes at the shelter. The use of these boxes helps defray the costs of caring for cats in the shelter and the spread of disease. Now, when our population is at its highest, we cannot get the boxes we need in adequate quantities. The auction houses also use the boxes and are leaving us in a situation where we cannot care for the cats in the facility. IF you go to a liquor store, grocery store, pet store, etc. and see these type of boxes grab them for us!! The boxes are about 11″ x 17″ and used for beer cases and canned foods!
