Most people think only dogs and cats are at the shelter. Right now, we have so much more than that!
               Currently, in foster care, we have 8 cockatiels that are available for adoption.
All I want for Christmas
With the holidays just around the corner, the NAFC Animal Shelter’s Homes 4 the Holiday Programs are about to begin!
               We are currently looking for donations to help fund and support our Homes 4 the Holidays Campaign!
Calendar Updates: Volunteer Orientation and Board Meeting
Due to scheduling conflicts for Halloween, the volunteer orientation was held last Thursday, October 24th. This was announced prior to the meeting, and we had many new volunteers attend. Welcome to our family!
The holiday season always causes conflicts with these orientations. Our last volunteer orientation of the year will be held on Thursday, December 5th.  Please make plans to attend. We will need lots of volunteers for our 36hr Whisker Wonderland Adoptathon starting at noon on December 6th and ending at midnight December 7th!
Our last Animal Control Board Authority meeting of 2013 will be held on Thursday, November 7th. Public input is welcomed from 7 to 7:15pm. Please contact us prior to attending so we know how many people to expect.
