Everyone knows that cats have 9 lives, but you may not realize that all of the cats at the New Albany Floyd County Animal Shelter are waiting for a new life to begin. They are looking for their fill of cuddles, play time and love. That’s the only type of life worth living!

In combination with the new movie, Nine Lives, the New Albany Floyd County Animal Shelter is having a promotion to help the cats at the shelter start a new life. Cats have a way of teaching their families something new. It may be something as little as keeping the toilet seat down so the cat doesn’t go swimming, how to laugh at the strange situations they find themselves in, or that “It’s not enough to say you love someone, you have to show it”.

August 1^st through August 6^th, with a donated case of wet cat food, your adoption fee for a cat over 4lbs will be reduced to only $9. The cats already have a great start to a new life with current vaccinations, microchipping, Felv/FIV tested negative, and being spayed or neutered – now all they need is a new life with you!
