Fundraiser for The Floyd Co Animal Rescue League
Picture Treat!
Don’t Forget Your Pets!
You dress up for Halloween, right? Well, bring your pet and we’ll dress them up, too! SuperPetz in New Albany has kindly agreed to let us do a Picture Treat Halloween fundraising event for the Floyd County Animal Rescue League. Bring your beloved pet into the SuperPetz, choose from different backgrounds and costumes (you choose, we’ll set up for you!), and we’ll shoot a picture and print it out! Everything is provided; just bring your lovely self and your pet! We will be taking pictures at SuperPetz on the following dates from 5pm to 8pm Fridays, 11am to 4pm Saturdays, and 12pm to 2pm Sundays:
Friday, October 2; Sunday, October 4
Friday, October 16; Saturday, October 17; Sunday, October 18
Friday, October 23; Saturday, October 14; Sunday, October 25
Donations Are Appreciated.
100% of proceeds from this event will go to FCARL

Our Senior Pet Fair Dogs Available for Adoption On Sept 12th
We will be featuring 5 available dogs at the senior pet fair. In addition, other rescues will be attending with special needs or senior pets, even cats. Remember that we will be having special events for your senior pet, and even some special events for kids!
Oops, we forgot Lilo, a 2-3 year old Lhasa/Shih Tzu mix that is a puppy mill survivor. Sorry, no photo available at this time!
Reba, Lilo,Glenda, and Baby Mama have all been adopted. Pacifica and Nautica are currently available.
Pacifica is a 6-7 year old Poodle mix
Baby Mama is one of the last puppy mill rescues. She has raised her babies and is looking for a home of her own
Reba is a 5lb, 6 year old puppy mill survivor that needs you to love her and show her the way!
Glenda is an 18 month old Boston Terrier that is recovering from a fracture in her right front leg.
Nautica is a 5-6 year old Pug/Poodle mix.

Senior and Special Needs Pet Fair on Sept 12th
The New Albany Floyd Co Animal Shelter is pleased to be hosting our first adoption/education event highlighting senior and special needs pets. Bring your senior or special needs pets for fun, or take home a new one! Sid Korpi, author of Good Grief: Finding peace After Pet Loss, will be attending and doing a book signing.
