Temporarily suspending all Volunteer Programs

At the NAFC Animal Shelter, we pride ourselves on cleanliness and our disease protocols to maintain the health of the animals in our care. It is now time for us to consider the health of our customers and staff with COVID-19 spreading through the nation.

Temporarily, we are suspending our volunteer program to help prevent any potential spreading of any viruses. We, as always, appreciate the desire to help and hope to see our volunteers again soon. Maybe you could volunteer your time by fostering some of our adoptable animals during this time when we feel we may have a slump in adoptions.

We also suggest that our customers call the shelter and ask questions prior to coming down. We can answer questions about our adoptable animals, spay/neuter services, dog park memberships, surrenders and much more. We dont want anyone to possibly make two trips.

Please continue to take precautions to keep yourself and family healthy. We are dedicated to keeping our website and facebook updated as we progress through this time.
