We will be closed today from noon to 1pm for a Christmas lunch. We will open at 1pm for adoptions. All those interested in adopting Slick the rooster, we already have someone here waiting to adopt him at 1pm.
No Adoption fees!
Every person and every pet deserves to be in a home full of love and family. It is not often that animal shelters are empty of adoptable animals, but this year, we are going to strive to make this miracle happen at the New Albany Floyd County Animal Shelter. Help us empty the shelter by adopting, donating, or volunteering! We want a miracle on Market St!
December 10th through the 22nd all adoptable animals will have their adoption fees waived thanks to donations, support, and love from our community! License fees will still apply if applicable. Every Holiday Hound and Festive Feline has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, is current on vaccinations and has been tested for heartworms or Felv/FIV.
Join us in helping the thousands of homeless animals across the country find their forever homes this holiday season by giving the gift that keeps on giving. Adopt a shelter pet, donate, or volunteer.
