The Holidays are Here!

The Holiday Season at the New Albany Animal Shelter is a busy one. Many people look to add some type of furry critter to the family. While this can be a great opportunity, it needs to be really considered as a lifetime commitment.  There are many things that also need to be considered such as cost and training.

Please visit us or contact us if you are interested in adoptions. There are some specials that could help get an animal into your or another family’s home for Christmas.

 Christmas Dangers

The holidays are a festive time for us and our pets. However, due to ongoing activities and constant distractions, we can easily overlook potential dangers to our four-legged family members.

Take preventive measures to protect your pets this holiday season. Being aware of these top five dangers could save you a trip to the veterinary emergency room.

How can you not love that face? Polly is a very sweet little girl that just wants to play for a little while then snuggle up with a new family for Christmas. She is approximately 9 months old. She has already been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm tested negative. Her adoption fee is only $80! Please come see her at the New Albany Animal Shelter to make her Christmas wish come true!
