Great Homes Needed for Great Dogs!

Posted by: | Posted on: January 28, 2010
Two recent animal cases have left the New Albany Floyd County Animal Control & Shelter over-crowded with great adoptable dogs! These dogs have been spayed or neutered, heartworm tested negative, vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. In addition, they come with an adoption gift pack and starter bag of food! The adoption fee is $70.00 for these dogs. The animals range in age and type but are mostly mixed breeds, including several border collie and Australian shepherd mixes. Twenty-three of these dogs are from the “Save that Dog Sanctuary”. Nine of these twenty-three are available only to approved rescue groups and shelters due to their special needs. All adoptable dogs and cats can be seen on our website at www.nafcanimalshelter.org.

Fifteen dogs from the Sanctuary were signed over by Ms, Fraze with specific instructions as to their disposition. The other three dogs had health or behavior issues.
