WHAT: Annual Candlelight Vigil and Animal Blessing Celebration

WHERE: Saint Andrews Episcopal Church, 2233 Woodbourne Avenue, Louisville, KY

This year’s guest speaker will be Dr. Mary Buddemeyer-Porter, foremost authority on animal immortality is the author of Amazon Christian Bestseller, “Will I See Fido in Heaven?” and other pet loss books, Music CD’s and DVD’s. She is also the creative force behind the new poignant and inspiring documentary “Animals in Paradise”.

“If you’ve ever been concerned or had questions about whether or not our animal friends have a soul or if you’ll see them in Heaven, you don’t want to miss this year’s Honoring the Animals,” said Gail Heller, Chance’s Spot founder. “Dr. Buddemeyer has devoted over twenty years of research in the field of animal immortality and will provide biblical evidence of the heavenly restoration of all animals.”

All pet caregivers and friends of animals are invited to meet Dr. Buddemeyer on Sunday, September 9, 2011 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 2233 Woodbourne Ave., Louisville, KY. There will be a 30 minute meet-and greet followed by the start of the vigil at 4:30 pm.This event is free and those in attendance will be able to have their pet’s name read out loud during the vigil. There will be light hors d’oeuvres, musical selections and poetry-reading, as well as a moment of silence as candles are lit in memory of our beloved animal friends. After the vigil there will be a blessing of the animals for those who bring their leashed pets.
