Press Release/Photo Opp. – HSUS is placing Indiana Puppy Mill Rescue dogs in New Albany, IN

On December 3, 2010 the Humane Society of the United States will be stopping at the New Albany Floyd County (NAFC) Animal Shelter with animals that have been rescued from the Puppy Mill Bust in Bloomington, IN. (See Press Release below) 

These animals should arrive at NAFC Animal Shelter at 215 W. Market, between 11am and Noon. They will be a mix of the breeds Maltese, Shih Tzus, Pugs and Poodles that have been seized and may not be available for adoption for several weeks due to illnesses. Families are needed for foster care, also funds and supplies to help with the animals care would be greatly appreciated. Anyone wanting to help should contact the shelter at 812-948-5355.
