In the aftermath of the disaster that has hit our area, many of us are wondering, “How can I help?” Know that when dealing with animals in a disaster, little can be done until after the areas have been cleared for safety for non essential personnel.

We are maintaining constant contact with animal control and the shelters in Washington County, Scott County, Clark County, and Jefferson County so that we can assist them if needed. National resources are also standing by and are ready to assist when called upon. At this time, situations are still being assessed. We will keep you posted if supplies, volunteers, or monetary donations are needed.
